The tape is cut in accordance with the adhesive scheme accepted by the project and is cut on a clean flat surface covered with a protective film. Scissors or a sharp knife should be used to cut the tape. All operations must be carried out with protective gloves. Do not allow sand, dust, water, oils, solvents or other foreign substances to get on the tape. The tape must not be folded - it may cause part of the fibers to break and reduce the strength at the folding point. For transportation it is allowed to roll the tape into rolls, having previously signed the cut parts according to the adhesive scheme. Be careful when handling the tape - it is not allowed to separate the tape into bundles, damage the fiber, contamination of the tape surface.

Carbon tapes are wound on solid non-deformable cartridges (bobbins). The roll with the tape is wrapped with polyethylene film and placed in a cardboard box. The esign of the box ensures that the quality of the product is preserved during transportation.

Concrete base should be dry (not more than 4% residual moisture), chemically neutral, even (not more than 5 mm on the base of 2 meters), endurable (compressive resistance of concrete base is not less than 15 MPa, for columns - not less than 10 MPa, tensile strength - not less than 1.5 MPa); should not have starved
spots, cement milk, defects and cracks. The base fragments with insufficient strength as well as areas contaminated with oils should be removed mechanically. The base temperature should be between +5 °C and +40 °C.

Storage period is 3 years (as from the date of manufacture). Tapes should be stored in a packed form in protected warehouses at relative humidity not exceeding 85 %. Avoid sudden changes in temperature.

Use gloves, respirators and safety glasses when handling carbon tape.
Carbon tapes without impregnation are non-toxic and non-flammable, not capable of forming toxic compounds, not explosive, not fire hazardous, ignition temperature above 1000°C
